Here is One of the hundred or so                      Here is What Happens at the 8:30 am                songs that we love to sing                           Worship Service
You’re a good, good Father
That’s who You are, that’s who You are
And I’m loved by You
That’s who I am, that’s who I am
                     -Chris Tomlin
With a simple refrain, Tomlin encapsulates the perfect relationship that we can enjoy with our heavenly Father. Too often, in this world, family relationships can be destructive, but Tomlin reminds us that God provides not only the ultimate example of what a father should be, but also loves us unconditionally. At our core, we were created to be loved by God and to love Him in return.

The 8:30 am service is for early risers, people who have to work, and for people who love piano music and the great hymns of the Church. Terry and Linda Haugh are our leaders at the 8:30 am Sunday Worship experience at Journey of Hope Community Church. Terry often reads specific verses in the Bible to help us appreciate and better understand the song we are about to sing. Linda is an accomplished pianist and has played since she was a little girl. Terry studied music at Spring Arbor University. We are thankful that they share their skills with us each week.
